Novaerus Product Launch in Kenya

The official product launch of Novaerus in Kenya took place this month. Kenya is a key market within Africa due to its rapid growth and open attitude to new and innovative technologies. The nation has created a long-term development plan called Vision 2030, which is set to revolutionize the healthcare sector. The Kenya Vision 2030 is a national long-term development policy that aims to transform Kenya into a newly industrializing, middle-income country providing a high quality of life to all its citizens by 2030 in a clean and secure environment.

The product launch was held at the Irish Embassy in Nairobi. Among those present were many key stakeholders within the healthcare industry, including the Chairman of the Kenyan Chamber of Commerce, CEO of Nairobi Hospital, the largest hospital in Kenya, members of the Press, Irish Minister of Public Works Kevin Moran and various other key personnel.

The itinerary included a presentation of the technology by Novaerus’ Úna Ní Raghallaigh, followed by the official signing of the exclusive partnership between Quintons and Novaerus and a Q&A session. The three-day visit also allowed for a number of hospital visits and discussions with Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA), a state corporation under the Ministry of Health.
